General Terms and Conditions for PAZ Academy
These general terms and conditions apply to all purchases and activities or the use of services and products by a customer via the PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH website, www.pazacademy.ch (.xyz)
PAZ Academy believes on individual training to give the best learning experience and highest knowledge for you. We need rules to keep our PAZ Workshops, courses, materials and services safe for you and for our other students. The following terms apply to all your activities, orders before and after the PAZ Training and other related services : D
To perfectly enjoy the training and your ordered material, you must agree our following points:
1. Prices
The prices shown on the website are in Swiss francs or in Euros and may include VAT. Processing fees and shipping costs are not included. These will be added separately to your bill. Shipping fee has only our physical products. Payment for all orders are only accepted in Swiss francs or in Euros.
PAZ Academy reserve the right to change their prices at any time. The ordered prices are valid only on the ordered date.
We offer promotional discounts and they cannot be cumulated with other discounts.
2. PAZ Academy Coupons and Gift Cards
The coupon has to be issued by PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH and cannot be bought or sold. They are part of a promotion or is a present for our lovely customers. The coupon is always linked to a campaign period and can be used only this defined period. The coupon code must be entered before completing the order. It can be only used once. The coupon code may not be passed on to third parties.
The PAZ Academy Gift Card cannot be purchased with coupons. The Gift Card will be sent to the e-mail of the order. Valid only for the provided services from PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH, cannot be changed to cash or sold to third parties. The Gift Card has always a period and can be used only in this defines period.
The Gift Card is valid for two years from the issue date. You can do partial redemptions also : You may select how much you wish to pay with your PAZ Academy Gift Card at the checkout page and pay the remaining amount with another payment option. The Gift Card cannot be exchanged or credited to a credit card. If the Email of the Gift Card is lost or stolen, it will be not replaces. The PAZ Academy Gift Cards are for personal use only and the sale or any other profitable use is strictly prohibited. This gift card is reserved exclusively for PAZ Academy products and services.
3. Some basic rules of your order
You may only use the website to make legitimate enquiries or orders. You will not make any speculative, false or fraudulent orders. If we are reasonably of the opinion that such an order has been made, we shall be entitled to cancel the order and inform the relevant authorities. You also undertake to provide correct and accurate e-mail, postal and/or other contact details to us and acknowledge that we may use these details to contact You in the event that this should prove necessary (see our Privacy Policy).
If You do not give us all of the information that we need, we may not be able to complete your order. By placing an order through the website, You warrant that You are at least l8 years old and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
Ownership of the products will only pass to You when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the products, including delivery charges. An order only becomes final after it has been accepted by PAZ Academy. The submission of the order by the customer assumes that he accepts these terms and conditions in their entirety and to the exclusion of all other conditions. PAZ Academy reserve the right to refuse a customer’s order without giving any reason.
4. License Grant
By purchasing the Archicad Add-On products, PAZ Academy grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software components package for the duration of the active subscription.

For internal use only: The license may not be sublicensed, shared externally, rented, leased, or otherwise transferred.
Licenses remain the property of PAZ Academy. You agree not to circumvent license controls or use the product beyond the rights expressly granted herein.
4.1 TRIAL LICENSE
4.1.1 Trial Grant.
PAZ may, at its sole discretion, provide Customer with a limited, temporary, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable trial license (“Trial License”) to install and use the Software solely for evaluation and testing purposes in connection with Customer’s internal business activities.
4.1.2 Trial Duration.
The Trial License is granted for a limited period, as specified at the time of activation (for example, 14 days) or as otherwise determined by PAZ (“Trial Period”). The Trial Period begins upon PAZ activation.
4.1.3 Trial Functionality.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Trial License provides access to the full functionality of the Software during the Trial Period. PAZ reserves the right to modify, limit, or disable certain features after expiration of the Trial Period, including switching the Software into a restricted, read-only, or view-only mode.
4.1.4 Expiration and Automatic Termination.
The Trial License automatically expires at the end of the Trial Period without notice. Upon expiration:
Customer’s right to actively use the Software terminates; and the Software may continue to allow viewing or inspection of previously generated results, but further application, modification, or execution of functions may be restricted unless a valid paid License is activated.
4.1.5 No Obligation to Purchase.
The Trial License is provided free of charge and does not obligate Customer to purchase a paid License. Continued use of the Software beyond the Trial Period requires the activation of a valid paid License.
4.1.6 Trial Limitations and Availability.
PAZ reserves the right to:
– limit the Trial License to one trial per Customer, organization, or Device;
– refuse or revoke a Trial License at any time;
– modify or discontinue Trial Licenses without liability.
4.1.7 No Warranties for Trial Use.
Without limiting Section 7 (No Warranties), the Software provided under a Trial License is provided strictly “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” for evaluation purposes only. PAZ provides no guarantees regarding performance, availability, or suitability during the Trial Period.
4.1.8 Feedback.
Customer may, at its discretion, provide feedback, suggestions, or comments regarding the Software during or after the Trial Period. Any such feedback is voluntary and may be used by PAZ without obligation or compensation, provided no confidential or personal data is included.
5. Subscription Billing, Renewal & Cancellation
The Archicad Add-On is sold on a yearly subscription basis.

Unless cancelled in advance, subscriptions automatically renew for successive one-year terms at the then-current yearly price.

PAZ Academy will attempt to renew the subscription using the same payment method you used for the initial purchase, unless you provide an alternative valid payment method.

We will notify you in advance of any price changes affecting your subscription renewal.
5.3 Cancellation & Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time prior to the next renewal.

Cancellations must be made through your account dashboard or by contacting support at [email protected].

Upon cancellation, your access to the software and support services will continue until the end of the current billing period.

No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods, unless required by applicable law.
6. Updates & Support
During the active subscription period, you are entitled to:
Support does not include custom development, third-party integration assistance, or Archicad version compatibility issues outside standard workflows unless otherwise agreed.
7. Usage Restrictions
You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any part of the software.

Use the software in a manner that violates any applicable laws or rights of third parties.

Distribute, sublicense, or make the software available to third parties not authorized by PAZ Academy.
All rights not expressly granted under these terms are reserved by PAZ Academy.
8. Payments and Credits
When you make a payment, you agree to use a valid and authorized payment method. If your payment method fails you do not have access to the trainings or no materials.
You can pay using Visa, Mastercard and Twint.
The used cards are subject to validation checks and authorization by your Card issuer. If we do not receive the required authorization, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
All payment transactions are processed according to the highest possible security standard. No transfer of credit card and payment card data to third parties. Measures to protect card data in accordance with PCI DSS requirements.
The TWINT payment function offers the option of paying by smartphone with an app. There are no additional costs. “Pay with Twint – Terms&Conditions”
In personal request we can offer Oders for Invoice, but it has be communicated in advance. The billing fee (electronic) cost CHF 2 and by post CHF 4. The invoices has to be payed in 30 days. If does not happen, we send a first payment reminder within 10 days for free of charge. The second reminder (by post) for CHF 20.00 and the third reminder (by post) CHF 20.00. Interest is 16.0 % per year until the full payment.
9. Shipping
Depending on your home country we provide shipping solutions for our physical products. Please be aware of the shipping cost when you order. The package size and weight you can find in the product description. Here you can find the cost calculator.

10. Third-party development
Our tools, plug-ins, and add-ons are independently developed and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by McNeel & Associates, Graphisoft, or Autodesk. PAZ – Parametric Academy provides references to these software products solely to indicate compatibility with our solutions. All product names, trademarks, and registered trademarks are property of their respective owners.
11. Beta Testing
If you receive, download access to any PAZ Academy Tool, Add-On, or Product for testing purposes, you are required to provide feedback within two (2) weeks. Failure to deliver feedback within this period may result in PAZ Academy charging the standard fee for the tool or product.
12. Exchange and Return Rules for our Products
You have 30 days from the shipping date to return your purchase from pazacademy shop. This only refers to shipped physical products. The products can be returned or exchanged as long as they are in the same condition as when they were purchased. Items that include a bag and packaging must be returned with it. If you return the purchased goods within ten days in perfect condition and in the original packaging, we will send you the full amount back. The cost of the return will go at your expense. Please be aware of the Withdrawal deadlines.
The refund will be made via the same payment method used to make the purchase. You will receive email confirmation of the return once it has been completed.

Change of size : in order that you want a new size, please write us an email and not more than 7 days later your order and we will inform you about the next steps.
13. Purchase for a Training, Enrollment and Access
A legally binding registration obligates you to pay the course fee. Failure to pay the course fee does not constitute a cancellation. After your received payment PAZ is providing you to access to the trainings (platform, link, physical place, etc) and associated contents, solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. All other uses are expressly prohibited. You cannot not record, reproduce, redistribute, transmit, transfer, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share (not even in office-internal), lend, modify, adapt, edit, create derivative works of PAZ Academy and the Training, sublicense, teach or otherwise transfer or use any material, video, files and other provided materials, unless we give you explicit permission to do so in a written agreement signed by a PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH owner. This applies to all content.
Participants may cancel or postpone their course registration under the following conditions:

Up to 21 calendar days before the course start date: Cancellations or postponements are free of charge. No processing fee will be applied.

Between 20 and 14 calendar days before the course start date: 50% of the total course fee is payable by the participant.

From the 13th calendar day before the course start date onward, including after the course has started: The full course fee is due. No refunds or reductions will be granted under any circumstances.
In the event of serious and unforeseeable exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), the school management reserves the right to assess the situation individually and may, at its sole discretion, offer a goodwill solution. This may include a partial credit or transfer to a future course. In such cases, official documentation (e.g., medical certificate) must be provided in a timely manner.
Course Cancellation
If an instructor is unavailable, the school management may assign a replacement or substitute instructor. If this is not possible for organizational reasons, the missed course will usually be rescheduled. If a course cannot be rescheduled, the missed lessons will be credited to your customer account. Upon request, this credit can be refunded.
Reservations
The school management reserves the right to allocate course places that have not been paid for by the start of the course. If there are fewer than 3 participants, the course will not take place and will be rescheduled to the next available date. In special circumstances (epidemic, pandemic, etc.), the school reserves the right to switch from in-person classes to online teaching.
14. Registration, user account and rules for the BSS Title
You need an account for all the activities on our BSS platform. You must provide and continue to provide accurate and complete information, including a valid email address. You have complete responsibility for your account and everything that happens on your account, including for any harm or damage (to us or anyone else) caused by someone using your account.
Keep your password safe because you are responsible for all activity associated with your account. Your account is personal and only can used by you. If you suspect someone else is using your account, let us know by contacting our PAZ Team. You may not share your account login credentials with anyone else. In the event of any strange movements or if any portion of this Terms & Conditions is not maintained, your account will be closed. You can log-in from maximum three different IP addresses and maximum one device. If we discover any suspicious movement on you account, we can freeze it and close it.
The PAZ BSS Title has a high personalization level. Our professors do their best to answer you as soon as possible, but depending on your timetable, geographical location, and time zone it can be different. Our professors are located now in the CET Timezone with working hours from Monday – Friday, between 9am – 5pm CET.

15. Content and Behavior Rules
By purchasing any of our products, whether free or paid, you agree to receive communications from us, including but not limited to news, information, updates about our courses, products, tutorials, and other related matters.
16. Content and Behavior Rules
Please take care of the law and common human sense and the intellectual property rights of others. You cannot access or use our training for unlawful purposes.
In the room you are not allowed to ask inappropriate questions from our professors, insult and hurt them in any way. All spamming, advertising is forbidden. Self-promotion of any kind or any degree is forbidden and will be immediately deleted and closed the training process.
The students are not allowed to push, force the professors in any way (for questions, or materials that are not part of the training, for consultancy, etc) .
No comments and chat are to be accepted about age, sex, sexual orientation, political, social and / or religious beliefs. In all cases, post, comments must comply with the Platform Rules. If it fails to comply, administrators have the right directly to delete the post or proceed delete your registration.
17. Links from our Website
We may have links from our website to other third-party website and materials; such links are provided exclusively for information purposes and we do not have any control whatsoever over the contents of such website or materials. Accordingly, we accept no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of such links.
The Website may contain links to pages on other websites and those Linked Sites may contain content or offer products and/or services for sale.
We do not author, edit, control, or monitor these Linked Sites. You acknowledge and agree that:
- we have no responsibility for the accuracy or availability of information provided by Linked Sites; and
- we do not control or endorse the sponsors of such Linked Sites or the content, products, advertising or other materials presented on such Linked Sites.
We may remove any links to Linked Sites from the Website at any time for any reason.

18. Warranty
PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH guarantee, that the purchased products and workshops will be performed on the announced date. In any case of cancellation from the side of PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich we guarantee the money-back or we offer a change option for the next same training. PAZ Academy provides the software “as is” and does not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PAZ Academy disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
19. Termination
We may terminate or suspend Your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.
Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
20. Rights of PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH
All right, title, and interest in and to the PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH Platform and Services, including our website, databases and the content of our professors are the exclusive property of PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH. Our trainings and services are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing gives you the right to use our name or any other brand features.
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the website and PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH.
PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH can use your feedbacks, your comments and your collaboration by naming, sharing on our social media and other purposes, and PAZ Academy has the right to decide in every moment to continue or not with the students in the workshops and trainings. PAZ Academy has the right to move or cancel training dates depending on the world-wide and health situation.
By registering or applying to any workshop, event, presentation or purchasing any product, training or any other thing on our website, you accept the registration to our PAZ Academy Free-Le@arn and Newsletter to send you news, informations about our workshops, courses, trainings, new products, events and any other information.
PAZ – Parametric Academy Zurich GmbH has the right to change and modify anytime this Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all of the Online Content with or without notice to you and we will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modifications, suspension or termination. By continuing to use the Website, you agree to be bound by the terms of these updates and amendments.
21. Limitations of Liability
Every person who connects to the pazacademy.ch (xyz) website, confirms that they have accepted the following conditions. Any special agreements on individual services or products are excluded from these conditions.
PAZ Academy declines all liability if an end user’s computer system has been manipulated by third parties. PAZ Academy recommends that its users be aware of the risks associated with computer viruses and possible targeted hacker attacks. We recommend to use virus protection and we recommend to avoid opening emails from unknown sources as well as attachments.
You may not do any of the following while accessing or using the PAZ Trainings and services:

- Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the platform, PAZ Academy’s computer systems or the technical delivery systems of PAZ’s service providers.
- Disable, interfere with, or try to circumvent any of the features of the platforms related to security or probe, scan any of our systems
- Copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to discover any source code of our content on the platform or services
- You may not scrape, spider, use a robot, or use other automated means of any kind to access the Services.
- sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing the platforms or services, or in any other manner interfering with or creating an undue burden on the Services
- copy any code, template or structure of the platform
22. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies to all legal relationships. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
